Conservation Artistry

Our Conservation Artistry program will be held this spring from Noon until 2 p.m. on the following Saturday afternoons this spring: May 6, 13, 20, and 27; and June 10 and 17 (no program on June 3). Conservation Artistry crafts and activities typically take 5-10 minutes to complete and are fun for all ages (younger children will likely need assistance from a caregiver).

Please RSVP for this program if you intend to participate in this program that is included for free with your admission to the aquarium.  Come by our public programs table in the mall hall outside the Via Aquarium entrance to join us for art, games and fun.

Conservation Artistry uses art to learn about and explore ocean and coastal conservation challenges. By engaging participants in artistic creations related to these issues, we strive to increase awareness of threats to ocean and coastal ecosystems in our region and around the world.

Please email Leah Akins, Via Aquarium Public Programs Educator, at with questions/comments and if you would like to be added to our email list to receive notifications on upcoming public programs.
