Jr. Aquarist for a Day
Looking for a unique experience for your child that is hands-on and educational?
Our Jr. Aquarists for a Day will spend 4 hours with their Aquarist Sponsor. Their time will include learning the basics of being an aquarist including health checks, cleaning the exhibits, and of course feeding the animals!
This program is geared toward children from 9 to 17 years old that are showing an interest in marine biology or what goes on behind the scenes at an aquarium!

Aquarist for a Day
Have you always had an interest in working with marine animals? Just looking to get up close with some of your favorite animals and would like to see how our team takes care of them?
Dive into our adult Aquarist for a Day program! During this 2 hour experience, you will see the aquarium from a new point of view!
To start, you’ll head on a private behind the scenes tour with your Aquarist Sponsor to see the ins and outs of our exhibit and animal care. On this tour, you’ll learn how we mix saltwater, prep food, filter exhibits, test our water, and much more!
You’ll assist in cleaning the tanks, feeding our sharks, turtles, or octopus, or even go right into our stingray tank!
